World Communion Sunday will be celebrated Sunday, October 1st during our Morning Worship Service. We invite you to help us celebrate American Baptist Church’s Multi-Cultural Ministries on this Sunday. We will be hosting a small reception after the service with a variety of different breads from around the world.
Adult Sunday School – Meets on Sunday Mornings @ 8:45am in the classroom next to the Secretary’s Office. All are invited to join us! We are studying N.T. Wright’s video Bible lessons that offer a fresh perspective on Salvation as not just getting saved and going to heaven, but so much more! All are invited to join us!
Church Council Meeting: Church Council Meeting: will meet on Thursday, October 19th at 7pm. in the Lower Fellowship Hall.
Wednesday Evening Bible Study: will meet on Wednesday evenings October 11th and October 27th , at 7pm. on ZOOM. We are starting a new study on the Gospel of John using N.T. Wright for Everyone Bible Study Guide.
AB Men: American Baptist Men’s Group will meet for breakfast on Sunday, October 8th , 7:30am. @ the Country House Restaurant on Delaware St., in Thorofare. . We hope that you will join us.
AB Women: Will meet on Monday October 16th at 2 p.m. at the Blue Parlor. We will have Bible Bingo and will start working on “Teresa’s Comforting Warmth Blanket” as our mission project. Come for fellowship, fun, service and enjoy some Refreshments! All Women are Invited!
SANDWICH AND A SONG – We will meet on Wednesdays, October 11th and October 25th in the Lower Fellowship Hall at 5:15pm at the Blue Parlor at CBC. If you have any questions, please see Libby Sellen or Boyd Fox. You could also call 856-845-0526 and leave a message.

November 12 is Stewardship Sunday – Kathy Stackhouse Cunningham, Coordinator of the GWCM Food Pantry, will share a Testimony during our worship service. Please invite your family and friends and be blessed by stories of God’s faithful and amazing love.
November 19, at 7 p.m. – Community Thanksgiving Service at Kemble United Methodist Church, 19 South Broad Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096.
CHRISTMAS 2023 TOY and GIFT COLLECTION
We are starting early this year to give ourselves time to collect toys for the children of the clients of The Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries Food Bank for Christmas 2023.
We are collecting donations of New and Unwrapped toys and gifts for infants through 18 years. Donations can go in the marked box in the Narthex. Thank you!
JEANETTE’S CLOSET
Jeanette’s Closet is open on Tuesday mornings- 9:30-11:30am. at CBC. They are collecting: Gently used clothing for all ages (especially children’s clothing and Men’s everyday clothing), bedding, and towels, and can be dropped off on Tuesday mornings (9:30-11:30am)

GREATER WOODBURY COOPERATIVE MINISTRIES FOOD BANK
The Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries Food Bank is open on Tuesday & Thursday mornings, 9:30 to 11:00am.
The following items are needed: cold boxed cereal, jelly (not peanut butter), boxed pancake mix & syrup, tea bags & coffee, and toilet paper.
It would be greatly appreciated if anyone is out shopping and could pick up any of these items. These may be dropped off at the Seventh Day Adventist Church food pantry at S. Barber Ave. on Tuesday and Thursday Mornings 9:30- 11:00am.
