HOLY WEEK
- PALM SUNDAY- Join us for our morning worship service to start the Holy Week, on Sunday April 13th @ 10:00am.
- MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE- Our Maundy Thursday Service will be held on Thursday, April 17th @7pm. in the Central Baptist Church Sanctuary. Communion will be served.
- GOOD FRIDAY Prayer Time CBC Good Friday Prayer Time will be held at Central Baptist Church Sanctuary on Friday, April 18th @ 12pm. to 12:30pm. There will be recordings of hymns played by Rev. Fox throughout this time. You can come and stay for a few minutes or for the half hour. You are welcome to do a prayer walk around the sanctuary and view the paintings by Carole Henell and poetry by Pastor Carla inspired by the Seven Last Words of Jesus.
- EASTER MORNING BREAKFAST– Please join us for breakfast on Sunday, April 20th at 8am in the Lower Fellowship Hall. Sign up sheet is available in the Narthex.
- EASTER MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE- The Celebration of our Risen Lord on Sunday, April 20th @ 10:00 am. We look forward to worshipping together in celebration!
CBC 2025 Annual Worship Theme: “Living with Hope into God’s Future“
The challenge and invitation for our church family this new year 2025 is to live with hope into God’s future. When viewed from our own personal and family struggles and trials; and add on the turmoil and crises both home and overseas, HOPE may not be the first thing that pops up in our minds. But with God, we dare to claim by faith, God’s hope and future for us. Let us be encouraged by God’s promise through the prophet Jeremiah, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11, NKJV
