Looking ahead…

June 6 (Friday) 6- 9 p.m. CBC will have a booth at the Woodbury Lot 323, for Non-Profit Night. It’s located at 115 W. Broad St., Woodbury, NJ. Family friendly crafts, sweet treats and information on our church ministries and volunteer opportunities will be shared with all who drop by our booth. If you wish to sign up to volunteer please call 856-845-0526 and leave a message.

June 8 is Pentecost Sunday – It’s a special day to remember and celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church. The symbol of the flame reminds us of the tongues of fire that empowered the disciples to speak in different languages and proclaim the Good news of God’s reign through the risen Lord, Jesus. Let us pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our congregation and all churches in our community and around the world.

June 15 (Father’s Day Sunday) – Rev. Bob Ralph will be our guest preacher. Come and be blessed by God’s message through Rev. Ralph’s Ministry of the word, worship, music and fellowship on this special day when we thank God, our heavenly Father, and our earthly fathers for their loving care, protection and guidance.

CBC 2025 Annual Worship Theme: “Living with Hope into God’s Future“

The challenge and invitation for our church family this new year 2025 is to live with hope into God’s future. When viewed from our own personal and family struggles and trials; and add on the turmoil and crises both home and overseas, HOPE may not be the first thing that pops up in our minds. But with God, we dare to claim by faith, God’s hope and future for us. Let us be encouraged by God’s promise through the prophet Jeremiah, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11, NKJV
