Central Baptist Church of Woodbury was founded in 1896 and began as a Sunday School Class started by mothers who wanted a safe place for their children to learn about God and grow in their faith as dedicated disciples of Jesus. The church was a founding member of the Baptist World Alliance and is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA and the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey. Known in the community as the “Church who Cares,” CBC welcomes everyone who is seeking to love and serve God and neighbor.
